SuperCart was born from a simple frustration — why do Indian shoppers still wait in checkout queues in 2026?
India has over 14 million retail stores. From small kirana shops to sprawling multi-floor supermarkets, they serve as the lifeblood of our communities. Yet, everyday checkout processes remain stuck in the past. Every day, millions of shoppers waste precious hours standing in checkout queues. At the same time, store owners bear high operational costs, paying ₹8,000 to ₹15,000 per month for cashier salaries alone. We asked a simple question: what if customers could just scan, pay, and go?
SuperCart is a complete cashierless shopping platform. It is a complete ecosystem comprised of three purpose-built products working together seamlessly: a Customer Mobile App allowing shoppers to scan product barcodes and pay instantly via UPI/cards; a Guard App for gatekeepers to scan exit codes and verify transactions in seconds; and a Store Portal for real-time inventory management, stock controls, and analytics. No dedicated hardware, no queues, and no cashier overhead.
SuperCart was built by Ashutosh Sharma, a developer and entrepreneur based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Starting as a solo project, SuperCart grew into a full-featured B2B SaaS platform serving retail stores across India. Every line of code, every design decision, every product choice has been made with one goal in mind: making Indian retail stores smarter and more profitable.
To make cashierless shopping the standard for Indian retail — accessible to every store, from a small kirana to a large supermarket chain. We believe technology should reduce operational costs, not add to them.
